Epilogue

Many years ago, there was a very beautiful song called "Awakening", which I really liked.

How far from birth to death

is in the length of our breath

How far from confusion to consciousness

When comes a sudden chance

How far from love to hate

You can't anticipate

How far from then or now

When laughter spreads somehow

How far from you and me

Forgiveness only

How far from heart to heart

The sky to the earth

......

In the few short months that I spent writing this book, I experienced both writing and enlightenment simultaneously, and my heart is filled with immense gratitude. As we enter the period of the Ninth Purple Fire, people's need for the "heart" is growing stronger, and all sorts of mind-body-spirit courses are flourishing, with temples bustling with worshippers. Faced with the turmoil of the world, many people try to survive while escaping. A lot of people are turning to Buddhism, burning incense and chant scriptures at home every day, appearing to be very devout, but often causing discord within their families. To borrow an analogy from Master Miaohua, these people are "working with illness", becoming problematic figures among believers.

The underlying color of Chinese culture is Confucianism's "involvement in the world", which is "firewood, rice, oil and salt", living a simple life, and not avoiding "fame, wealth and power". Temples are not lotus flowers, "where there are people, there are complications", and if you don't know the depth, you may fall into "superstition".

The Buddha never encouraged monasticism or mandated recitations of sutras; "the Buddha in the sacred mountain is not far to seek, for that mountain resides in your heart." Learning from traditional culture and Confucianism, Buddhism, and Taoism helps us better cultivate ourselves, live in peace, and thrive in our careers. We mustn't substitute religious sentiment for practical living, nor live purely based on spiritual attachment and imagination.

Life is a journey of cultivation, where every experience is a training ground for mind and body. As we journey through life, we cultivate ourselves. I once tried to choose a highly intelligent and knowledgeable person as my lifelong partner, willing to give everything selflessly and without regret. Later, I realized that knowledge and wisdom are two different things. The true obstacle to progress is not difficulty but rather the "I know" that distances you from wisdom. Years of education and a higher degree don't necessarily signify anything. If you think you know everything, you wouldn't be dissatisfied with who you are now. Most people live in an illusion, pushed forward by the script of life, unable to understand why they can't achieve success despite having education and intelligence, unable to overcome the hurdles of life. Only those rare individuals who possess true wisdom can stand in a higher dimension, seeing reality clearly and living life as it should be.

This book bears witness to my growth. During the writing process, I was both writing and gaining insight. Though many principles flowed from my pen, I still find myself not practicing them well enough. As Teacher Liu Feng once said: those who truly and deeply understand life don't necessarily have a long lifespan, just as some students can finish their exams early. There are still many things I care about in life, such as my children and unfulfilled missions, so I don't wish to "submit my paper" early. I will maintain purity and goodness, naturally doing what I can within my abilities.

I never intended to use this book to enlighten young people—"you can never wake someone who is pretending to sleep." Thus, I believe that any theoretical knowledge is merely someone else's "truth". What is truly valuable must come from one's own personal experience and realization. If, while reading this book, you find yourself reflecting and it aids in your growth, that would be the greatest merit.

In the spring of 2024, the idea of writing this book suddenly occurred to me. Having never ventured into this field before, I couldn't even find a single "introductory" book. As I was feeling lost, I "came across" a few books, including "Unlock Your Higher Dimensional Wisdom", "The Manual of Intentions" and "Internal Observation Notes", with a suggested reading sequence. The subsequent writing process felt like a "conversation with god", leaving me full of wonder and gratitude. By summer, I discovered that my reference list had grown to over 200 books, delving into subjects like "multiple dimensions" and life information.

Upon re-examining the previously materialistic views on science, the universe and life, I gradually realized that: humanity's increasing understanding of the universe and life itself is an unstoppable trend. People do not need to blindly trust external forces, nor should they feel anxious or fearful. With material abundance and the aid of technology, we will usher in a better life and a better version of ourselves, as both Earth and each one of us are "loved" by the universe.

This book invites you to open your mind, transcend your habits, and expand the definition of science from the three-dimensional space to higher dimensions. It would be beneficial to pay attention to some "practical tests" in higher dimensions. When you then revisit the wisdom systems passed down through different regions, cultures, languages and religions, you'll find that they are not contradictory but rather mutually reinforcing. This can lead to a deeper understanding of the workings of the entire universe and a more profound and comprehensive insight into human existence and its essence. Elevating humanity's understanding of science from three-dimensional to higher dimensions will help transcend and elevate scientific knowledge, allowing it to integrate with existing human wisdom and achievements without any conflict with original scientific knowledge.

Here are two additional notes. First, this book references a wide range of scriptures and ancient texts, all directly sourced from earlier works without historical verification. As such, there may be some discrepancies between the text here and the original sources; this is noted specifically. Second, as a middle-aged person who needs to "keep up with the times", I often read online articles and watch videos. When I find something insightful, I revisit it multiple times and jot down my thoughts. Sometimes, I am unsure whether these online statements are original or reposted content. I have done my best to provide thorough citations for all sources. However, if any coincidences arise, or if any potential copyright issues are involved, please contact me for removal.

At the end of this book, I want to encourage young people to read more books. Technology is advancing rapidly, and while it's undeniable that answers once found only in libraries or bookstores can now be quickly accessed through a quick Google or GPT. However, wisdom cannot be obtained in this way.

Return to books! Because only the knowledge gained from books is systematic, critically examined, verifiable, and applicable to life. As Dong Yuhui once said: "Food can only satisfy your body, but spiritual nourishment can enrich your soul." Books may not solve all problems, but reading widely will help you avoid many issues. The saying goes: "With books and poetry in your belly, your spirit will radiate." Reading helps you develop correct thinking patterns and confidence in your ability to think critically. Those who love reading are clear-minded, calm in tone, and graceful in behavior. Learning can broaden one's mind and vision, elevate one's thinking, and help you deeply experience life.

This book aims to inspire inner wisdom in different people, regardless of religion, belief, or financial status. Meeting you in this way is merely a fortunate support to our inner growth.

In conclusion, borrowing from the confession in the 86-year-old Qiong Yao's work "I Have My Own Sky", may the hearts of our lives be "fulfilled, free, without regrets," and may our limited lives be filled with a bit more "happiness and grace":

Even if sometimes dark clouds fill the sky,

That is when we are tested.

When the sunlight reappears,

Shining upon us,

That sunlight will be even more brilliant and bright.
